THE BOISE GUIDE🌷 — 5 Minute Hotlist

THE BOISE GUIDE — 5 MINUTE HOTLIST (March 25th)
Your cheat sheet to Boise from Katie at @theboiseguide

I’ve been wanting a simple way to share what’s happening around Boise each week, the things I’m actually doing, finding, and saving. So, I finally made one 😊
This is your quick “5-minute Boise hotlist” with a few things to check out this week.
Let me know what you think, and if there’s anything you want to see more of!

📅 Event of the Week

Treefort is officially back, and I think it's one of the most fun weekends of the year in Boise.

Even if you’re not going for the full festival passes, there are SO many free things happening around downtown like live music, pop-ups, food, and really good energy all weekend.

If you’ve never been, this is your sign to check it out (even just for a few hours).

🍷 New Greenbelt Winery

A Boise patio where you can watch people surf the river?! Sign me uppp! I can’t wait to spend time here this spring and summer!

Dude DeWalt Cellars just opened their new Greenbelt location, and the patio views might be one of the best in Boise. You can watch surfers on The Wave at the Boise Whitewater Park while sipping wine on the patio.

💛 Top 5 Spring Patios

✨Patio season is officially HERE and I just shared 5 of my go-to Boise patios to hit this spring 🌸

These are the places I always find myself going back to as soon as the weather warms up.

🥗 Salad Delivery is Back

We finally have a salad spot in Boise and the Treasure Valley!! Think Sweetgreen or Chopt, but local.

Gem Jolie is bringing organic, locally-sourced greens, protein dressings, and delicious toppings right to your door (gluten-free toppings and most of the dressings are dairy-free).

🫖 Public Art

Have you ever walked or driven down Grove Street and noticed those old neon signs and wondered…what’s up with those?

For over 20 years, Signs of Our Times, founder Vangie Osborn has been collecting vintage Boise signs and now 6 of them have been fully restored and placed right between 12th and 13th on Grove in downtown Boise.

I love when history is saved and restored! Have you seen these before? Now you know!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend! It's been a whirlwind few months, and I haven't gotten around to a newsletter, but wanted to send one with some of my favorite things below so you don't miss this Black Friday! Jack and I are officially home from spending 37 New York City!! We had a blast and went to 7 Broadway shows, a Jets game (T-Swift was there), Stephen Colbert, Comedy Cellar, endless food, and great drinks. I also got to go to a live Peloton class, which was a highlight for me! After NYC, I...

I spent all of it in Idaho, having so much fun running around Boise and McCall. If you happen to need some ideas of things to do in and around Boise or McCall in the next few months, check out this reel and this reel. Because Jack and I are heading to NYC at the end of September, we decided to...

Hello! Wow, I'm so excited to be back after a long hiatus (3 years to be exact) since I've sent a newsletter! You might be wondering, "Why this sudden newsletter?" I've got news!! A few days ago I officially took the leap to become a travel + lifestyle content creator full-time! Beforehand, I was working on my marketing consulting business and working with tech companies while sustaining the blog on the side. In mid-July, all of the stars aligned and my last client had to get rid of all of...
