Things I love right now, Black Friday Deals, Back from NYC!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

It's been a whirlwind few months, and I haven't gotten around to a newsletter, but wanted to send one with some of my favorite things below so you don't miss this Black Friday!

Jack and I are officially home from spending 37 New York City!! We had a blast and went to 7 Broadway shows, a Jets game (T-Swift was there), Stephen Colbert, Comedy Cellar, endless food, and great drinks. I also got to go to a live Peloton class, which was a highlight for me!

After NYC, I flew straight to Charleston for a girls' weekend with my family. Wow, it's so cute! And then I went to Spokane, WA for to pick up my Top 15 Influencer Award for the North West USA! I was so honored to win that.

Now we are home and settled for a hot second before heading to Salt Lake City after Thanksgiving to see Jack's family, and then I head to Vegas with my friend to go to my first Vegas Raiders game. I've been to a Raiders game when they were in Oakland, but this is new for me!

Okay, hope you're all doing well, and below are some of my favorite things right now!

Spud Spotlight

I wanted to share some of the things I love right now (Black Friday Deals included)!

  • I recently finished listening to the Paris Hilton book on audio, and it was WILD! I recommend it if you ever followed Paris or watched The Simple Life. Speaking of audiobooks, Spotify just announced free 15 hours a month of audiobooks for premium members so I am stoked for that!!
  • I'm still really into my NUULY clothing rental, and I have a $20 off code if you want to try via this link! I also did a fun little try-on video reel the other day.
  • I can't stop listening to this song right now!
  • My favorite travel shoe—Allbirds is having up to 70% off sale this week! They never go on sale, so it's a good one. You can use my link and get free socks with your purchase!
  • In case you missed my wild heatless hair video, you've got to WATCH! This thing is magic! But you have to do it with dryish hair that is slightly still damp. Here's what I have and it's 40% off right now!
  • I have been on a natural beauty kick (no toxins), and my new favorite brand for that is OSEA! I have a code for 10% off your purchase, plus they are doing an offer where if you Spend $135 → Get a FREE Full-Size Hyaluronic Sea Serum ($88 value) or Spend $235 → Get a FREE full-size Hyaluronic Sea Serum + FREE Full-Size Undaria Algae Body Butter ($144 total value). Their products are soo good!!! Use this link for 10% off with code: 'Travelingspud10'.
  • My new fave travel backpack is my 17-inch Nordace Siena Pro. I loved it to travel to NYC and Charleston, and they are 60% off for Black Friday!
  • For anyone you are gifting for who is passionate about the planet and sustainability, the Leaf Shave Razor is a great gift! I have a link for 10% off here - use 'TravelingSpud10'. This eliminates plastic razors going into the dump!

Hello! Wow, I'm so excited to be back after a long hiatus (3 years to be exact) since I've sent a newsletter! You might be wondering, "Why this sudden newsletter?" I've got news!! A few days ago I officially took the leap to become a travel + lifestyle content creator full-time! Beforehand, I was working on my marketing consulting business and working with tech companies while sustaining the blog on the side. In mid-July, all of the stars aligned and my last client had to get rid of all of...
